About Us

Bright Mavericks is a collaboration between Lindsey Pickles and George Osborn. Combining the gaming expertise of Mobile Mavericks with Bright Dials’ marketing expertise, and mixing it with both company’s events expertise, we organise networking events and tailor made workshops which bring the gaming industry together.

Having both attended and organised games industry events before, we both felt that the majority have not served the needs of attendees or sponsors as well as they could. Often taking place in cramped spaces, with loud music drowning out conversation, meet ups and mixers rarely deliver as much benefit as they should.

That’s what we’re aiming to change. By creating a better environment which helps people to exchange ideas, network effectively and do so with as a little stress as possible, we hope to improve networking events and increase their value to companies and individuals across the games industry.


Lindsey has been working in the digital sector for over fifteen years and recently set up Bright Dials Digital Marketing helping business owners, SMEs and start ups with flexible, part time digital marketing. She founded Bright Mavericks with George to create a bespoke, value driven events service to clients wishing to meet and engage with leading experts and developers in the global gaming market


George is a games journalist and events organiser. He has written for The Guardian, Pocket Gamer Biz, Games Industry Biz and Alphr.com on the topic of gaming. He has also helped organise five conferences and over 20 networking events in the mobile games and games industry. He runs the Gamerbake event series and is an enormous football fan.
